Sony’s ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ trailer is officially here and Eddie Brock and his shadowy symbiote friend are back!
While working to teach the Venom symbiote to not eat every human he sees, Eddie takes an interview with a Serial Killer Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson), and from what it seems the trailer is leading us to believe, bites Brock and ingests a portion of the symbiote in the blood. Next thing you know, Kasady is Carnage, which apparently is “a Red one,” one that Venom isn’t a huge fan of.
Some people are not too fond of the humor when it comes to the ‘Venom’ movies, but a good deal of the audience loves the back and forth banter and internal struggle that Brock and the symbiote have together, claiming that it makes the character more likable, along with masking the fact that Spider-Man is nowhere to be found or involved in the storylines.
Check out the Andy Serkis directed trailer here, and keep your eyes peeled for a Fall 2020 release.
