Killer Mike to Appear in ‘Ozark’ Season 4

Killer Mike and Run The Jewels have already had tons of placement on TV, most recently in Amazon Prime’s ‘Invincible,’ and now he’s going to appear IRL in the upcoming season of ‘Ozark.’

Netflix and its award-winning drama have had a huge fan in Killer Mike for a minute, and he said himself, according to Billboard, “I went from waiting to find out what happens next to being part of it … I’m excited.”

This isn’t the first time Killer Mike and ‘Ozark’ crossed paths. Their popular track (and Cookies strain) “Ooh La La” was featured in Season 3 of the show.

Billboard describes the arc of Season 4 as follows:

“The fourth and final Ozark season will feature 14 episodes split into two parts and is currently slated to wrap up the Byrde family’s descent into the criminal underworld in the Lake of the Ozarks region of Osage Beach, Mo. At the time the final season was announced, star Bateman said in a statement, “A super-sized season means super-sized problems for the Byrdes. I’m excited to end with a bang(s).”

The reports do not note what character that Killer Mike will play, but if you’re not into binge-watching new TV, do not worry. You can catch Killer Mike with El-P and Rage Against The Machine for the rescheduled “Public Service Announcement” tour that was put on hold due to the 2020 Pandemic.
