Women have been put through the ringer for the last few months when it comes to Abortions and Reproductive Health.
With multiple states approving a Fetal Heartbeat Bill, Shelley O’Brien felt she needed to take a stand and do something. Luckily she runs a hotel in a tiny town in Michigan called Yale and is offering up rooms to anyone traveling in need of an abortion.
According to the Detroit Free Press, O’Brien is a mother of three and grandmother of seven, has created a sense of an “Underground Railroad” for women seeking abortions.
“This is important… This is my line. There’s no coming back from this. You start taking away the right for women to control their own bodies, and we’re done for as a civilization. I can’t stop what’s happening, but I have the resources to maybe help someone in that position, and especially knowing that women are coming from other states already.”
Of course, her Facebook page was blown up after posting a note to these women, especially with many Pro-Lifers, but that’s not going to stop Shelley.
