The 46-year-old legacy of High Times Magazine is adding another drop for their Cannabis line with the High Times branded name, which will be available for purchase in Michigan at selected dispensaries starting February 26.

Ami Nicole of ACRONYM was one of the lucky ones to test out one of three strains that High Times is releasing, and she described them as follows on her Instagram account: 

“White Label – aka ‘Dope Rider’ is LA Kush Cake – an Indica-dominant Hybrid of Wedding Cake and Kush Mints – 24% THC. This one was my favorite of the three, great taste, with a full body/mind high. After smoking this, I laid back, put on my headphones, and had a vibe session – which, no lie, helped me revisit some music and hear more of the instrumental intricacies.”

“Red Label – aka ‘American High’ is Oreoz – an Indica Hybrid of Cookies and Cream crossed with Secret Weapon – 24.5-25.5% THC. A solid strain for working and focus, I was able to zone in on some photo editing without feeling too sleepy – a trait that most people associate with Indica-based strains.”

“Black Label – aka ‘The Ace’ is Super Lemon Haze – a Sativa dominant Hybrid of Lemon Skunk and Super Silver Haze – 25% THC. During this shoot, I smoked ‘The Ace’ to absorb it’s Sativa-based profile. I usually stay away from potent Sativas because they heighten my anxiety or heighten my awareness, but this strain has a perfect balance for me with the hybrid crossing. ”

With High Times bringing their product to Michigan first, it indicates how in demand that Cannabis is in Michigan. With it being one of the most popular states as of late for Cannabis, especially with Cannabis events being all the rage before the Pandemic began, it was a smart move for High Times to station their drop here.

As previously indicated during the first flower drop, vapes and “High Times will also be rolling out branded vapes, gummies, and pre-rolls in the early stages of 2021.”
