Waylon Reavis is no stranger to the music world. The former frontman of the band Mushroomhead ventures out for his newest release under WakeUp! Music Group with his current band A Killer’s Confession. Their new album, ‘The Indifference of Good Men’ is now available on all streaming services, as well as for hard copy purchase.
For fans of Hard Rock, Metal, and Nu Metal, the album at its first listening comes hard and heavy, especially with the lead single “Numb,” in which the accompanying video depicts the pain and suffering that occur when a loved one commits suicide. The video directed by Domonick Giorgianni is described as follows:
“This visual masterpiece crafts a look into the realities of permanent solutions for temporary problems and the carnage left behind if only in the minds of the living. Seek support, guidance, and others. Hold on. Take two. You are writing your own script. Remember mind altering substances don’t make it better. This is reality. Let us not become numb to it. For better or worse it lies in your hands. National Suicide Prevention Hotline: 1-800-273-8255.”
As far as the rest of the album, tracks like “Angel on the Outside” and “It’s Not Too Late” put A Killer’s Confession on the level of heavy hitters in the Active Rock genre, such as Godsmack, Disturbed, and Five Finger Death Punch, and is a must-listen if those bands strike your fancy.
ACRONYM was able to meet, photograph, and speak to the band back in June 2019 on a tour stop near Detroit, and when seeing the band perform live, it was clear that this band not only has what it takes to rise up in the ranks of the rock charts but that Reavis himself will lay it all out on stage to make his music heard and understood.
