So after I challenged the thought of a Coney Paczki in one of my articles, Grace Keros commented on my post that I should come up and try it.
The Keros Family has owned American Coney Island since 1917 and has been owned and operated by the Keros Family starting with Gust G. Keros.
With that kind of lineage in an invitation, I couldn’t say no. On top of the fact that Fat Tuesday, AKA Paczki Day is February 13 (TODAY) and who can pass up the Detroit / Hamtramck Tradition of indulging in all these calories.
So with all of that in mind, I rolled up to the restaurant this morning to check it out, and in full fashion, did a run-and-gun review.
Thanks to American Coney Island for being an awesome Detroit establishment for many years before now and many years to come!
